Cookie policy
Last updated 20 September 2026
This page lists everything this website stores in your browser. It is a short list. We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies, and nothing here is shared with third parties.
What we store and why
| Name | Type | Purpose and lifetime |
|---|---|---|
| nl-consent | Cookie and local storage | Remembers whether you accepted or rejected non-essential cookies in the panel shown on your first visit, so that we do not ask again. The cookie lasts 12 months. The value is either “accepted” or “rejected”. |
| nl-theme | Local storage | Remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme with the toggle in the header. Only set once you use the toggle. It stays until you clear your browser data. |
Both of these are strictly necessary to provide something you asked for and are exempt from the consent requirement in the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR). Neither identifies you or is sent to anyone else.
Bot protection on the contact form
The contact page uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated spam. It runs only on that page, is strictly necessary for the form to work, and does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Cloudflare may set a short-lived cookie or use browser storage while the check runs, and processes your IP address and browser characteristics to do so, under Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
Analytics and other tools
At present no analytics or measurement tools run on this site. If we add one in future, it will only be loaded after you choose “Accept” in the cookie panel, and this page will be updated to list the cookies it sets. [Future tools, if enabled by the owner: name, provider, cookies set, lifetime.]
Changing your choice
You can change your answer at any time. The button below clears your stored choice and reloads the page, and the cookie panel will appear again.
You can also delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Doing so will not affect anything on this site except that the panel will ask you again and your theme choice will not be remembered.
