What this involves
A mobile application makes sense when people need to work away from a desk: engineers on site, drivers on a round, sales staff with a customer, or customers themselves. The important design decision is that the application should be a window onto the same system as everything else, not a separate system with its own copy of the data.
We build for iOS and Android from one codebase where that suits the job, and natively where it does not. Either way the application talks to a backend we design alongside it, so business rules are written once and enforced everywhere. Offline working, photographs, signatures, barcodes and location are the features most often asked for.
We handle publishing to the App Store and Google Play, including the accounts, certificates and reviews involved, and we hand those accounts over to you. After release we can keep the application current as the operating systems change, which they do every year, under the same monthly agreement we offer for every system we build.
